This picture was taken on Saturday....second to last day before the end.
Moving stuff....

We are finished. Simple statement. Sunday was the last day of scanning for our department. No more coming in to scan early in the morning. Our database and equipment is now located at the assembly hall. They can scan in there now, no need for us.

This coming weekend we will inventory, clean up and pack up. The trailer will go home. It was on loan from the RBC. It has served as an office, a shelter and a home. We practically lived there at times.

What is next for us? Well, the dedication. We are now working on the plans for the dedication. That will keep us busy until the first week in June. Then it will all be truly over.

Pictures will keep coming though not as regular. The residence is the only building not finished. Should be soon.

Said goodbye to the volunteers in my my department today via email. (yes...a bit impersonal but impossible to call each individually). They were a great group to work with.

Our department was open 6 days short of one year. We started on May 25th, 2009....What a once in a life time experience! As we run into each other at assemblies and conventions we will remember the good times and memories of this past year. Let's call it....The Year of Our Lives....

Enjoy!
