If you have never been on an international convention, you are missing so much. Save money. Go at least once. It is an adventure.
Here they have a bidet. Have no idea how to use or that I will use it.
Everyday has been hectic. Tours, walking, lots of walking. This place is not like the valley, flat. Will need knee replacement when I get back.
Food is interesting, lots of fish. No chips or salsa.
Taxis are the way to travel, very reasonable.
The scenery is beautiful We are near the ocean, The Portuguese were sea people.
Did I mention hills and walking....
We are in an open stadium, cool during the morning, hot in the afternoon.
Service in restaurants is interesting, add to that the language barrier. I am now proficient Portuguese sign language.
