Well, Sunday night, hot wings galore, time to relax. He looks comfy no??

Former CO who now lives in the valley. He served this area in the late 80s. He gave the talk at our congregation this weekend.

The group that met at Denny's for lunch. We had 12 people. Very lively bunch!

Notice the pepper bottles in front of him? Is that what the napkin is for?

Two of our sisters enjoying their meal.

He never did get his bread.....but still had a happy face.
Anticipation........
This young man is really into his food.

Our table....

The "other" table.....

Our brother from Ghana fielding questions... (married? rich?..... )

After the meeting discussion

One in every crowd, has to try out the clothes.

Wonder if it is my size....

This is what is worn in Ghana. I thought it was kinda short, you know, above the knee. He later explained that one wears pants underneath. Ok, makes sense. Duh....

Putting the garment...

Proper attire in Ghana for giving talks...no tie!!!!!
So Sunday was another busy day. We met our speaker who followed us to the KH. We travel 50 miles to our meetings. It was our former CO who now lives in the area. It was good to see him again!! and his wife too! :)
We made time on our meeting to have the brother from Ghana speak to us on the work and growth there. Amazing stats!!! 15 are being baptized each day, they have built over 400 KH's in the past 4 years!!!! 3 to 1 ratio at memorial for the country!!!! And it is a peaceful and serene area. Makes you want to go there no? The people in Ghana read and know their Bible so going out in service you have to be sharp!
We went out to eat at Denny's, had a grand time, then home. Did some shopping for electrontics, then we made hot wings and overloaded on bad cholesterol Not a bad ending for the week. Monday morning at 5:45 AM the friends left. We shall meet again!
