Hmm...I may have caused a bit of confusion by posting about Day Workers. Here is the explanation:
We have several types of volunteers:
RBC Volunteers: these get an ID Photo tag with the name of their RBC on their tag, these have filled out the proper forms and are approved volunteers.
PV: permanent volunteers are those that live on site
LV: Local volunteers are non RBC volunteers but have filled out an assembly hall volunteer form.
Day Workers: These volunteers are those who have been invited to work for one day, they are not regular volunteers who have an assignment. The Vol Svc department asks the local congregations to provide volunteers to assist for one day. The congregations will be asked to provide volunteers on a rotation basis.
Contractors/Vendors: Just what it means. :)
We have over 23 different ID badges. We keep busy. :)
