When we got to the top..it was time to rest.
A view from the top

We took a bit of a holiday and went to Lost Maples State Park in Vanderpool, Texas. It was a great time to be out there as the leaves were changing colors. Some of you who are in the NE see this every year. Not us.

We took a 4.7 mile hike, eight of us, on a journey to see the hill country of Texas. We survived. I want to thank the paramedics who gave me resuscitation and shock treatments on the steep climb. Will the person who took the pictures please forward them to the First Aid Department at the Assembly Hall project so they can see how it is done?? :) Naw..did'nt need any of that.

Oh..if you cannot find the other three people..they are behind the camera. :)

So, enjoy the pictures.
