What our area looked like..

Dismantling has begun.... our canopy was dismantled today...tomorrow..it will all be gone. The personnel crew was quiet today...all 5 of us....we are closing down, the end is here. Soon..all this will be gone..very soon..too fast. Seems it was only yesterday we were setting up the trailer

You see the same sadness in the eyes of the other volunteers around the site. Dan and his family took off this morning. Home to Montana via Missouri. Lots of hugs being given, memories, addresses, phone numbers and emails exchanged.

There has been a boom in bbq's. Crews are getting together one last time. Our department will have its bbq next week. We plan a series of events, gifts....oh..and hugs.

Although sad...all are happy it is at an end. Lives go back to normal.

Workdays have been cut back, work only Thursday thru Sunday starting next week. Instead of coming in at 5:30AM to scan volunteers....we now open up at 7AM.
